Vizsla and Pheasant – I found this old Van Brunt planter on a hillside behind our place abandoned decades ago. It just cried out to me to be used in a painting so I transported it from Idaho to somewhere in the mid-west via my imagination. I felt having it between the dog and the bird added tension to the composition not to mention a little history as well.
