Hey, Watch Your Backcast

Fly Fishing and Moose – Years ago while fishing the Firehole River I glanced behind me to check on my backcast and there stood a bison cow and calf watching me. My fly was missing the cows nose by only inches. I change the bison to a moose for this painting as well as the background but the bottom line is if you haven’t been out there and experienced such things it’s pretty hard to paint them.
