I was raised training, hunting and field trialing sporting dogs. Since receiving a Bachelor of Fine Art (’78) and Master of Art (’80) in painting from the University of Tulsa, my sole occupation has been that of a sporting artist. Coupling these experiences with over 40 years as a professional artist gives me the unique ability to paint your dog(s) in a true hunting setting. Each year I have the honor of painting some of the most distinguished sporting dogs in the world. I am proud to be the official artist for the following championships and award programs:

The National Pointing Dog Championship
Purina’s Outstanding Field Trial Awards
Open All-Age Brittany of the Year Award
Amateur All-Age Brittany of the Year Award
N.S.T.R.A. Champion of Champions
N.S.T.R.A. UKC Performance Classic
N.S.T.R.A. Purina Endurance Classic
N.S.T.R.A. Quail Invitational
National Open Retriever Championship
National Amateur Retriever Championship
The National Open Shooting Dog Championship
NVA National Championship
U.S. Invitational Shooting Dog Championship
NGSPA Open Shooting Dog Invitational Championship
NGSPA Amateur Shooting Dog Invitational Championship
NGSPA Open All-Age Invitational Championship

Each painting is unique to the individual client, subject and landscape. I do not copy a single photograph but rather work from numerous photographic reference materials to create a one of a kind portrait. An original oil painting is truly the ultimate way to pay tribute to your dog(s).
