German Shorthaired Pointer and Gambel’s Quail – With Four Peaks as a backdrop this painting was based on a friends property in Arizona that was just teeming with Gambel’s quail. His dog’s name was Thor so I put in a thunderstorm far off in the desert to highlight the dogs moniker.
